Message Not in a Bottle

Well, this morning I finally got to work on deciphering the message in Japanese which was sent to me by a Japanese speaker.  The message is short (only a couple of lines) and I am extremely pleased to see that, at first glance, I already recognize some of the words.

That’s a way to boost your ego.

Now, I’m sure that, when I really buckle down to trying to read it, I’m going to get depressed by my lack of knowledge, so I am going to take great pleasure now in the fact that I do recognize some of it right off the bat.

And, no, I’m not going to resort to Google Translate!

Tomorrow is my next lesson on Cafetalk, and my tutor can double check my translation for me!  She’s nice that way.
